We invite you to apply for our 2019 summer internship program. We have a full-time internship available beginning June 17, 2019 in our Analytics Department. This temporary internship position is scheduled for 10 weeks and is not to exceed 6 months. Undergraduate level internship work may include less involved research projects and documentation; phone communication, meeting minute transcriptions; Power Point production; social media maintenance; document and template updates; marketing material production; website updates.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
NCQA is requiring all health plans that develop proprietary program code to produce HEDIS measure rates to participate in an Automated Source Code Review (ASCR) by HEDIS 2022. This translates into ~70 of our current HEDIS programs being modified to meet the standards of NCQA’s ASCR requirement. The intern’s primary role will be to participate in this project by assisting our project manager in organizing and tracking in addition to taking on tasks that suit their strengths and level of ability. It would be optimal if the intern had a technical degree because they could help with the more technical tasks that would present themselves while this project is underway. This project falls under the affordability pillar since NCQA would require us to use a vendor to produce HEDIS for us if we did not participate in ASCR.
- High school diploma/G.E.D.
- A student currently enrolled in a collegiate academic program.
PAY RATE: $19.23/hr
All external hires are required to pass a pre-employment background screen.
