Overview:

Northwest Permanente, P.C. (NWP) is a self-governed, physician led, multi-specialty group of over 1,500 physicians, surgeons, and clinicians, caring for over 600,000 members in Oregon and Southwest Washington. We invite you to apply for our 2019 summer internship program. We have a full-time internship available beginning June 17, 2019 in the departments of Legal Affairs, Corporate Development & Systems Management and Provider Contracting & Relations.  This temporary internship position is scheduled for 10 weeks and is not to exceed 6 months. Internship work may include phone communication; printing and collating reports; posting signs; stuffing bags; less complex social media maintenance; event photography; event setup; office and file reorganization.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsibilities will vary by department.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a current high school junior or senior and be at least 16 years old OR have graduated within six months of application.  - OR - 
  • Must be a person of any age or background currently be enrolled in an accredited GED program or have obtained the GED within six months of application.

PAY RATE:  $15.33/hr

 

All external hires are required to pass a pre-employment background screen.
