Overview:

Northwest Permanente is seeking a dynamic Board Certified Endocrinologist with preferred minimum of 2-years post-training experience for a predominately outpatient endocrinology position. The successful candidate will join our seasoned and collegial team of Endocrinologists and Affiliated Clinicians who provide endocrine and diabetes care for our members at our Portland clinic with once a week travel to one of our region’s off-site clinics. Inpatient duties are very limited.  Experience with thyroid FNA by US guidance and palpation is needed. Our group practice has been extremely innovative in providing care to our patients by embracing virtual medicine—providing triaging and chart reviews for referrals and telephone/video consultations/follow-up visits.

Our preferred candidate is a physician who is committed to providing evidence-based care, is willing to follow collaboratively developed departmental guidelines and to work within a drug formulary.  In providing patient-centered, evidence- based care we are looking for physicians who are innovative, flexible and team players.
