David Lawrence Community Service Award Winners
March 5, 2016
The David Lawrence Community Service Awards are presented each year to honor the exemplary service of individuals and groups across the Kaiser Permanente regions who champion outstanding community benefit activities, demonstrating extraordinary efforts to improve the health of our communities. For the first time in the history of the award, there were two winners from each KP region, for a total of 14 winners.
It is our pleasure to share with you the two Northwest regional winners of the 2015 David Lawrence Community Service Award:
Please join us in congratulating these individuals and thanking them for their service in our community.
We believe that good health starts where we live, work and play. That’s why Kaiser Permanente invests in the communities we serve. We aim to make real and lasting change. Each year we partner with more than 150 local organizations that are embedded in community health work. It is estimated that this work has affected more than 1 million people in the Northwest Region. We take pride in these collaborations and the opportunity to help build greater health capacity and sustainability in the region. We also take great pride in our regional Kaiser Permanente employees, physicians and dentists, who help improve our communities through their involvement and volunteerism.
