Senior HRIS Analyst

The Senior HRIS Analyst serves in a key role for the new Candidate Relationship Management (CRM), Applicant Tracking (ATS) and Onboarding system implementation. This position also provides consultative support, systems analyses, design, implementation, reporting and vendor management for the system. The Senior HRIS Analyst possesses all skills and knowledge of a fully-qualified HRIS professional, with a focus on CRM, ATS and Onboarding System solutions and works as part of a team responsible for system analysis, design and implementation as well as moderately complex systems modifications/ enhancements. The Senior HRIS Analyst also serves as a technical/ business consultant for clients on systems modifications and enhancements. Additional HRIS duties may be assigned.

Northwest Permanente has an exciting career opportunity for  Senior HRIS Analyst. The Senior HRIS Analyst serves in a key role for the new Candidate Relationship Management (CRM), Applicant Tracking (ATS) and Onboarding system implementation. This position also provides consultative support, systems analyses, design, implementation, reporting and vendor management for the system.  

The Senior HRIS Analyst possesses all skills and knowledge of a fully-qualified HRIS professional, with a focus on CRM, ATS and Onboarding System solutions and works as part of a team responsible for system analysis, design and implementation as well as moderately complex systems modifications/ enhancements. The Senior HRIS Analyst also serves as a technical/ business consultant for clients on systems modifications and enhancements. Additional HRIS duties may be assigned in addition to the ATS.

Duties Include:

  • Meets with clients to understand and assess client business/operational needs and technical requirements and offers appropriate solutions
  • Identifies key business and systems issues, project scope and desired result
  • Participates in cross functional work groups to identify and document functional requirements, workflow detail, information sources and systems specifications
  • Oversees vendor management including monitoring service level agreements, managing trouble ticket performance, assuring license costs/billing is accurate and performing testing ofl vendor releases

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

System Maintenance

  • Ensures proper function of the CRM, ATS and Onboarding system and all interfaces with technical personnel, or vendors to resolve problems
  • Regularly reviews and analyzes client needs and assesses the system to identify solutions and improvements.
  • Facilitates user security setup and maintenance
  • Provides training and support to users at implementation and follows up on post implementation problems.
  • Develops documentation and training materials as needed
  • Partners with other HRIS team members to ensure solid integration into the HRIS/Payroll system
  • Audits database integrity
  • Acts as client account manager for the CRM, ATS and Onboarding system
  • Participates in User Communities

Report Development

  • Gathers report requirements from various customers.
  • Partners with customers to understand their needs and how they interact with the system in order to provide pro-active reporting solutions
  • Develops reports, tests, and schedules reports as needed
  • Makes changes to existing reports as requested

New Release Management

  • Analyzes implications of changes/new releases on existing processes, tools and interfaces based on knowledge of interdependencies of related functions and systems
  • Develop and execute test scripts in preparation for release updates.Evaluates test results to identify deviation from expected results
  • Communicates system changes to end users such as Recruiting, HR, Payroll, and other impacted users

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, HR or closely related field.
  • Four (4) years in HR System Administration
  • Understanding of complex datasets and analysis of data
  • Demonstrates customer-focused service skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally and written
  • Time management
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
  • Understanding of business needs and large complex business environments

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

  • Prior experience with automated CRM and/or ATS, preferable, Icims experience
  • Participation in system implementations
  • Four (4) years in HR System Administration
  • Experience in employment processes
  • Understanding of complex datasets and analysis of data
  • Practical methods in teaching system software use
