Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently soliciting applications for our New Graduate Fellowship Program in Primary Care. Residency Graduates between 3rd Year and Fellowship are encouraged to apply. This program is a great opportunity if you are interested in working while deciding on a future sub-specialty program. Physicians will be hired into positions in Northwest Permanentes east or west Portland Metro service areas. As with all other clinicians, New Graduate Fellowship physicians are expected to be collaborative leaders and professional partners as they perform in their interactions with members, clinicians and staff, and in use of program resources.

Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently soliciting applications for our New Graduate Fellowship Program in Primary Care.  Residency Graduates between 3rd Year and Fellowship are encouraged to apply. This program is a great opportunity if you are interested in working while deciding on a future sub-specialty program.  Physicians will be hired into positions in Northwest Permanente’s east or west Portland Metro service areas.  As with all other clinicians, New Graduate Fellowship physicians are expected to be collaborative leaders and professional partners as they perform in their interactions with members, clinicians and staff, and in use of program resources.

The New Graduate Fellowship Position is designed to achieve the following goals:

  • Provide cross-coverage across the Portland metro service areas
  • Give recent graduates clinical experience in an outpatient setting
  • Provide clinical education
  • Provide a great care experience to members. Meet the needs of paneled members in a way that supports the PCP/member relationship, including closing all care gaps and refreshing Medicare/Medicaid diagnoses
  • Follow departmental guidelines and expectations for scope of practice. Provide or order services needed to meet HEDIS measures
  • Offer additional educational opportunities by allowing the provider to attend appropriate CME courses and stay current on efficient use of HealthConnect systems
