Description:

Northwest Permanente, P.C., is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician for an immediately available full time position. Our new partner will have the chance to practice in an environment that offers a comprehensive network of support services and ample opportunities to pursue your professional interests in the Kaiser healthcare system.

Although not a prerequisite, our ideal candidate would have previous experience in a Kaiser emergency department and/or a minimum of 2-3 years of post-residency experience. You'll also be part of a growing organization that has recently opened our state-of-the-art Westside Medical Center, 17 miles west of Portland.

Our new Emergency Medicine physician will join our group of 57 emergency physicians in the Portland metropolitan area. Our group staffs two emergency departments with a combined annual census of 75k patients. The Sunnyside Medical Center is a tertiary care facility with 24 hr CT/MRI, emergent PCI, stroke team, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery and 24/7 in-house coverage for intensive care, surgery, ObGyn, hospitalists, anesthesiology, and emergency psychiatric services. The newer Westside Medical Center has similar services.

Among the many systems which support our daily practice is an award-winning electronic medical record system which allows for easy access to all pertinent patient clinical data, a state of the art on-line scheduling system, and an extensive network of outpatient services to facilitate follow up and help you provide excellent care. We are also a training facility for the Oregon Health Sciences University emergency medicine residency program; giving our new Emergency Medicine physician the opportunity to work with their well-trained residents. Additionally, they will be eligible to participate in our night shift exchange program which allows them to give away nights or work additional nights for added compensation.
