NWP is expanding its worker-ownership opportunities

As a B Corp, Northwest Permanente is seeking a more inclusive corporate structure. A physician-led company from its inception, NWP has recently undertaken changes that may eventually expand worker-ownership to the non-physician clinicians within the organization. This means that some 200 care providers — CRNAs, optometrists, pathologists, physicists and others employees who have not been not eligible for shareholder status — may soon be eligible to be worker-owners.
